Before developing and delivering leadership development program, LDP profiling was used to achieve the organisation’s development goals:
- They needed to expand a leadership development program for their residence managers across more than two dozen facilities.
- They wanted consistency in how managerial candidates would be evaluated, selected and developed.
- They put 40 existing managers and 24 emerging leaders through the LDP as part of the selection process.
- A specific LDP benchmark was derived for the residence manager position that focused on the elements associated with higher performance.
Managers matching nearly all of the LDP benchmark dimensions earned performance ratings that were 32% higher than those matching less than half of the benchmark dimensions.
The LDP findings offered a valid and reliable forecast of managerial performance for the residence manager position. In addition, we were able to utilise the Leadership Development Companion report (from the wide range of reports available)to effectively target the development needs of the group and individuals to ensure that every dollar investment in their people was targeted to provide a return.
